This Foundation started as a firm structure to house our constantly expanding Cooperative Societies and Investment Clubs. Women, youth and men are being empowered to fight and escape penury, poverty, hunger, and enjoy quality life through indigenous wealth creation strategies. We started in form of a Cooperative society on the 16th February, 2009 and currently have several Cooperative Societies as showrooms of our intentions. Not fewer than 300 individuals have been trained and benefitted from our Empowerment Scheme. We are currently in partnerships with many not-for-profit and religious organisations.
Olumuyiwa Akande, PhDThe scheme is aimed at training people and getting them necessary tools that they need to promote their businesses, crafts and trades instead of handing cash over to them. Our strategies will include assigning Business Mentors to each beneficiary to ensure funds are spent on the approved business/project for sustainability. Thus many individuals, especially women and youth, will be assisted to create enduring wealth. We have helped several members to secure acres of farmland while we currently hold another acres of plantain plantation in Nigeria.
